Getting started on building the mob farm. Just following some tutorial on YouTube.

It's quite simple. First excavate around the spawner, 7 blocks high and 9 blocks wide, and place water at each of the four corners. Skeletons spawn in and are funnelled into a hole in the middle of the room by the water. They're further pushed through a channel with water, where a block of lava awaits them at the end, held in place by two signs so it doesn't spill everywhere. The skeletons burn and their bones and arrows drop to be collected.

Pretty effective. I sat there for about 5-7 minutes and got 20 bones/arrows.

Decided to go back home in the night after completing the mob farm and was ambushed by this skeleton. Understandable.

Back in the nether to build a shelter around the portal.

I vaguely remember they drop cooked porkchops in this version and really want to try finding out for myself but... maybe next time.

Yup, lava looks incredible in this version.

Got what I came here for.
